About Us

Theodora Jn Baptiste, (Ed. D), is a master educator and wellness advocate who has decades of experience facilitating and mentoring young people nationally and internationally. She has served in various capacities including author speaker, youth director, educator, consultant, coach, and program development specialist for various organizations; and has taught and directed youth programs from elementary through college levels.

Originally from the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, Jn Baptiste has spent most of her career working with people and youth of various ethnicities, cultures, and backgrounds. Jn Baptiste’s passion is to advocate for the collective success of all and support work that elevates and empowers individuals, specifically strugglers and youth, to embrace their challenges and maximize their potential to be ignited and engaged, productively successful 21st century citizens. Her educational background includes a B.A. (English. Honors) from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados; a M.Ed. (Race, Culture and Schooling) from York University in Toronto, Canada; and a doctorate (Leisure, Youth and Human Service; dept. of Allied Health and Community Services) from the University of Northern Iowa, USA. Jn Baptiste is a Mother, Author, and Founder/CEO of Authentic Breakthrough, LLC. and Institute for Youth Empowerment.
